Pastor's Message

Cabin John United Methodist Church is a welcoming and friendly congregation in which people deepen connections with God and people through worship, serving, fellowship, mission, and creative use of spiritual gifts etc. We uphold Biblical beliefs. We inspire renewal and growth. We open arms to all. In Cabin John UMC, we work together to share God's love, grace, forgiveness, and seek living a meaningful and valuable life. 

Our English and Mandarin Chinese Sunday worship services are held at 10:00 am and 11:15am respectively. Sunday School for children and youth begins at 11:15am while adult's is at 10:00am. Besides, we have a group of students ranging from elementary to high school, playing different kinds of musical instruments at 10:00am. They perform during special occasions and in community settings. Every Sunday after lunch, the adult choir practice at 1:30pm. 

Youth and adult fellowships on Friday night offer great opportunities to explore in different topics or aspects to share, learn and growth. It is also a good place to support each other, to care and encourage one another. 

We also offer truth seeking classes, new believer classes, baptism classes, pre-marriage counseling, and other flexible classes as needed.

 牧师的话 

     中美联合卫理公会是一间温馨、友好的教会，藉著敬拜、服事、团契、宣道、属灵恩赐的配搭事奉等，与神与人建立更密切的关系。我们持守圣经的真理，激发更新与长进，并热情欢迎每一个人。我们在一齐彼此分享神的爱、恩典和宽恕，并追寻活出一个有意义与价值的人生。 

        我们的英语敬拜聚会及华语主日学校在每周日早上10点举行，华语敬拜及英语的儿童和少年主日学校则在早上11点15分举行。我们还有一个由小学至高中生组成的乐队在周日10点排练。他们常在特别节日及社区表演。每周日一齐享用午餐后，成年诗班在1点半开始练唱。 

        周五晚上的青少年及成年团契聚会有不同的节目、课题，供大家探讨、分享、学习及成长。团契也是互相支持，彼此鼓励的好地方，有难同担，有乐同享。 

        我们也按照个别的需要提供真理探索课程、初信栽培班、洗礼班、婚前辅导课程等来帮助人。
